This series on the five-fold ministry is based off my handwritten notes, which I took as I attended a church conference on this topic in Mar 2024.
Text: John 16:33
- In this world as Christians expect trouble, storms, battles, persecution, being hated / even killed
- But take heart and be of good cheer: we can have courage because a Jesus has overcame this world, so we can too
- Lesson 1: Worry, fear, anxiety, anger keeps us away from God’s desire (James 1:19-20)
- Lesson 2: God hears desperate prayers. When in crisis don’t isolate, have someone to cry with
- Lesson 3: Everything is better in teams, don’t try to do things alone
- Lesson 4: To parents, not much really matters, don’t argue with them over things like messy rooms, grades
- Lesson 5: Our children belong to God, let’s dedicate them to God
- Lesson 6: The schemes if Satan cannot stop God’s plan. Satan is trying to destroy us, and our relationships. And when all things fail, God is at His best.
- Psalm 20:7: Some trusts in chariots, but we trust in the name of our God. The Lord is faithful, let’s trust Him, when everything seems impossible, God can do the impossible.
