Today I was continuing my read on Ezekiel, and just pondered on his calling by God to be His voice to Israel.

And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Ezekiel‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬, KJV

Let’s consider prophet Ezekiel’s commissioning to convey God’s word to the Israelites in the Babylonian captivity. It was a difficult assignment as the people were rebellious, and posted a threat even to Ezekiel’s well-being (Ezek 2:6).

Sometimes we are also called to difficult assignments like jobs not so smooth, but with God’s help we would be able to fulfil His purpose in that mission.
