and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Gen 5:24, KJV
Story (Gen 5):
After Abel was killed by Cain, Adam knew his wife Eve again, and bore a son, Seth.

He was 130 years old, when he begat Seth.
Adam then continued bearing sons and daughters 800 years after begetting Seth, and lived a total of 930 years, then he died.
And Seth lived 105 years, and begat Enos.
And Seth lived 807 years, after begetting sons and daughters.
And all the days of Seth were 912 years, then he died.
And Enos lived 90 years, and begat Cainan.
And Enos lived after he begat Cainan 815 years, and begat sons and daughters.
And all the days of Enos were 905 years, then he died.
And Cainan lived 70 years, and begat Mahalaleel.
And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel 840, and begat sons and daughters.
And all the days of Cainan were 910 years, and he died.
And Mahaleleel lived 65 years, and begat Jared.
And Mahaleleel lived after he begat Jared 830 years, and begat sons and daughters.
And all the days of Mahalaleel were 895 years, and he died.
And Jared lived 162 years, and he begat Enoch.
And Jared lived after he begat Enoch 800 years, and begat sons and daughters.
And all the days of Jared were 962 heads, and he died.
And Enoch lived 65 years, and begat Methuselah.
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah 300 years, and begat sons and daughters.
And all the days of Enoch were 365 years.
But Enoch walked closely with God, and he didn’t die, but was taken up and away by God.
And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech 782 years, and begat sons and daughters.
And all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.
And Lamech lived 182 years, and begat a son, calling his name Noah.
Noah’s name means; he will comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed.
And Lamech lived after he begat Noah 595 years, and begat sons and daughters.
And all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.
And Noah was 500 years old, and begat Shem, Shem, and Japeth.
Typology:
Let’s look at Enoch, Methuselah, and Lamech.
Enoch was the seventh from Adam, so the seventh is taken / raptured, just as Enoch was taken up to be with the Lord without dying.
And Methuselah, whose name means, “his death shall bring”.
And Lamech, whose name means, “despairing”.
And Noah, whose name symbolises rest.
So combining both we have, “his death shall bring the despairing rest”.
So after a rapture, there’s going to be death bringing the despairing rest.
So it’s rapture, and then tribulation.
As we as believers in Christ wait for the upcoming rapture, let’s anticipate and get ready for His return.
And cleansing our garments white with His blood, and walking in holiness and purity.
